CHATTOGRAM, March 2, 2025 (BSS)-Patenga   police arrested 10 more people over assaulting a sub inspector (SI) and looting of his belongings in the Patenga Sea Beach area from an under-construction building in city’s Panchlaish area today. 

The arrestees were identified as Shuvo, 19, Arif Pramanik, 35, Ganpati, 57, Hamidur Rahman, 30, Rumel, 30, Rohan, 20, Rabbi, 35, Jibon, 26, Siam Sheikh, 18 and Rezaul Karim, 45.

OC Shafiqul Islam of Patenga police station said the victim SI himself identified the arrested persons. The arrested persons confessed their involvement in the attack. 

The arrestees were produced before the court and legal actions are on this regard.
