FARIDPUR, March 3, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and another injured in a road 
accident in Sankhali area under Madhukhali upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Abdul Matin, 32, a resident of Sreepur upazila in Magura 
district.

The accident took place on the Dhaka-Khulna highway when a motorcycle hit a 
standing lorrey around 8 am, leaving its rider Matin dead on the spot and 
injuring its pillion, said Md. Salauddin Chowdhury, officer-in-charge (OC) of 
Karimpur Highway Police Station.

The injured was sent to Dhaka in critical condition.
