JHALAKATI, March 5, 2025 (BSS) - Police in a special drive arrested a leader 
of city Awami League (AL) on charges of Explosive Substances Act case from 
the College Intersection area of the town in the early hours of today.

The arrested was Laskar Saidur Rahman Tuhin, 50, organising secretary of the 
city AL.

As part of nation-wide ongoing 'Operation Devil Hunt', the Jhalakati Sadar 
Thana Police arrested Tuhin from College Intersection area around 1.30am, 
said M Maniruzzaman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Jhalakati Police Station.

Tuhin will be sent to court on the Explosive Substances Act case, he added.
