KUSHTIA, May 6, 2025 (BSS) – A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-12 has arrested the main accused in the case filed over raping a 12-year-old child in Mirpur upazila of the district.

The arrestee was Sabbir Hossain, 19.

This information was given in a press release sent by the RAB's Law and Media Wing today.

The release said that RAB arrested him this evening from Mirpur, Kushtia with the help of the Intelligence Wing of the RAB headquarters.

Earlier, the victim's father filed a case with the Mirpur Police Station, Kushtia on charges of raping the child.
