CHATTOGRAM, Aug 24, 2025 (BSS)- District police have arrested two leaders 
affiliated with banned organisations Awami League (AL) and its banned student 
wing Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) from Satkania upazila here early today. 

The arrested were Md. Morshed Alam Dulu, 48, general secretary (GS) of Sadaha 
Union Awami League (AL) and Yaminur Rahman Emon, 36, a former GS of Upazila 
Chhatra League. 

Police made the arrest in Kenochia and Dhemsha areas in the early hours of 
today, confirmed by Md Jahedul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Satkania 
Thana.
 
They were taken into custody based on information regarding their involvement 
in political cases related to the banned organisations.
 
Both suspects have been sent to court for further legal proceedings, the OC 
added.
