Raojan’s top criminal Kalyan Barua arrested

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) – Police have arrested Kalyan Barua, 40, a top-listed criminal from Raojan in Chattogram district.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from Raojan Police Station conducted a drive in the Jalil Nagar area of Raojan Municipality on Monday night and arrested him.

Barua is wanted in several cases, including murder, robbery, and extortion, said Officer-in-Charge of Raojan Police Station Monirul Islam Bhuiyan.

He was sent to jail after being produced before a court.
