Three healthcare institutions fined in Chandpur

CHANDPUR, May 6, 2025 (BSS) – A mobile court has fined three private healthcare institutions over various irregularities in the district.

The drive was conducted in Shahrasti Upazila Health Complex gate area from morning to noon today, said Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Nirupam Majumdar.

The mobile court fined Fatima Lab and Consultation Center adjacent to the hospital gate Taka 25,000, 'The Khan Diagnostic Center' Tk 15,000 and 'Modern Lab Digital Diagnostic Center' Tk 5,000 on charges of various irregularities including lack of certificates of technicians working in the diagnostic centers and failure to update licenses, he added.
