NETROKONA, May 16, 2025 (BSS) - A ten-year-old boy drowned in a lake at 
Najirpur union of Komolkanda upazila today.

The deceased was Habibur Rahman Habib, 10, son of Abdul Jabbar Mia of 
Atkapara village under Nazirpur union of the upazila.

According to the locals, the child drowned in the Atkapara Tangail Lake of 
the village while he was taking bath. People rescued him and took him to 
Durgapur Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on-duty announced him dead.

confirmed.
