KHULNA, May 17, 2025 (BSS) - The members of Rapid Action Battalion-6 (RAB-6) in a drive last night arrested a fugitive listed terrorist from Rupsha upazila in the district.

The terrorist was identified as Md Sagar Sheikh, son of Fayek Sheikh, resident of Kalabagan Railgate Paschimpara road of Dumuria upazila.

According to a press release issued by RAB-6, a team of RAB Jashore Camp conducted drives around 11.05 pm yesterday at Jabusha area in Rupsha upazila and arrested the fugitive criminal Sagar.

The arrested Sagar is an accused in 19 cases, including murder and robbery.

Of the cases, he is a warrant accused in 9 cases and has been a fugitive for a long time.

The arrested person was handed over to the Jashore Kotwali police station, said the press release.
