One killed, 3 injured in Jhenaidah road crash

JHENAIDAH, May 17, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and three others injured in a tragic road accident at Dhanharia area of Sadar upazila here this morning.

The deceased was identified as Mithu Mondal, 45, son of Shafi Mondal, a resident of Basoil village in Magura district.

The accident took place on the Jhenaidah-Magura road around 5 am when a CNG-run auto rickshaw hit an easy bike from opposite direction, leaving easy bike rider Mithu and three others injured, confirmed Mrityunjoy Biswas, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Arappur Highway Police Station.

The injured were taken to Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared Mithu dead.
