Two workers electrocuted in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, May 18, 2025 (BSS) - Two people were electrocuted to death while removing stagnant water from the ground floor of a building on the city's MM Ali Road today.

The victims were identified as Tayyab, 45, son of Nur Jahan from Purba Golmogra area under Mirsarai upazila of the district and Rabiul, 14, son of Humayun of Jabirpara area from Pakundia upazila in Kishoreganj district.

Confirming the deaths, Nurul Alam Ashek, in-charge of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Police Outpost, said that the two people were brought to the hospital with serious injuries as they were electrocuted. Later, on duty doctor declared them dead.

The bodies of the deceased have been kept at the mortuary of CMCH.
