FARIDPUR, May 25, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested two individuals and recovered a shotgun from Sadarpur upazila in connection with a case over an attack on police personnel and the looting of firearms from a local police station.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from Sadar Police Station conducted a raid in the Proshika NOG area and detained the two suspects, Officer-in-Charge Nazmul Hasan said on Sunday.

Based on their confessional statements, police later recovered the firearm.

On August 5, 2024, a gang of miscreants carried out attack on a local police station and looted firearms from the thana.
