Army provides free treatment to 1,459 patients in Bogura

BOGURA, June 3, 2025 (BSS) - As part of its ongoing humanitarian initiatives, the Bangladesh Army organized a free medical camp today in Sadar upazila of the district to provide essential healthcare services to local residents. 

A total of 1,459 local patients received medical treatment and essential medicines free of cost at the camp held at Chandmuha Saralpur School ground. 

The programme was supervised by the 11th Infantry Division and managed by the 111th Infantry Brigade. 

Specialist doctors from the departments of Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), Ophthalmology, and Dentistry provided treatment at the camp. 

Besides, seven patients have been registered for cataract surgery. They will later undergo free surgery at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
