KHULNA, Aug 12, 2025 (BSS) - Police today seized drugs "Ice" (crystal meth) worth around Tk 2 crore and arrested two persons in Dumuria upazila in the district.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dumuria police station Md Masud Rana said that acting on a tip-off, police conducted drive this afternoon in a passenger bus in Dumuria Sadar upazila on the Khulna-Satkhira Highway.
Police team also seized a biscuit carton containing 2 kilograms of "Ice", divided into two large and five small packets.
Police later detained the driver Billal Sheikh,40, son of late Ramzan Sheikh, from Debhata in Satkhira and helper Sukumar Adhikari, 35, son of late Kalipada Adhikari, from Kaliganj in Satkhira.
