MOSCOW, Aug 13, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - The Russian army said Wednesday it had captured two villages close to Dobropillia, a former coal mining town in Ukraine's east still held by Kyiv.

"The settlements of Suvorovo and Nikanorivka in the Donetsk People's Republic have been liberated," Moscow's defence ministry said on social media, referring to Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region.
