Motorcyclist killed in Narail road accident

NARAIL, Aug 19, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident at Gobra Beel in Sadar upazila here today.

The deceased was Apu Biswas, 18, son of Rathuram Biswas of Gobra Saha Para in Sadar upazila.

The accident took place on the Narail-Mirzapur road at noon when the motorcycle collided head-on with a rickshaw van, leaving bike rider Apu injured critically, said Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Sajedul Islam.

Locals rescued him and took him to Narail Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. 

The body has been handed over to the relatives after completing the legal process.
