Arafat Rahman Koko Memorial Trust Cricket tournament held in London

DHAKA, Aug 19, 2025 (BSS)- The final match of the Arafat Rahman Koko Memorial Trust Cricket Tournament-2025 was held at Seven Kings Park in London today (Tuesday).

This year, eight teams from eight divisions participated in the meet. In the final match, Cumilla Warriors emerged as champions by defeating Mymensingh Gladiators.

The organizers said that the late Arafat Koko was a sports organizer. Under his leadership, Bangladeshi cricket advanced in the world stage. This tournament has been held for the past ten years to keep his memory alive.

UK BNP president and chairperson's Advisor MA Malik, former senior vice president Abdul Hamid Chowdhury, joint secretary Khasruzzaman Khasru, joint general secretary Asaduzzaman, former senior joint secretary Shahidul Islam Mamun, Narsingdi district BNP general secretary Monjur Elahi, Swechhasebak Dal general secretary Abul Hossain and distinguished guests were present in the final.   

Shahrfaraz Ahmed Shorfur, Faruk Hossain, Fazle Rahman Pinak,  Ariful Islam Uzzal,  Sheikh Sadek, Tuhin Mollah, Daliya Binte Lakuria,  Jahangir Alam Shimu,  Abdus Samad Raj, Fahidul Alam,  Shafiul Alam  Murad, Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, Kajol Jalani, Faisal Ahmed, Dipu Ahmed, Rana Talukder, Masudul Alam, Kazi Faisal and Atiq Ahmed, among others, organized the tournament.
