2 held with 20-kg ganja, truck in Dinajpur

RANGPUR, Sept 10, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested two alleged drug dealers with 20 kg of ganja and a truck from Mohanpur village under Kotwali Police Station of Dinajpur district on Tuesday night.

The detainees were identified as Md Swapan, 33, of Purnomoti village under Burichong upazila and Md Badal, 29, of Satmora village under Muradnagar upazila, both of Cumilla district.

On a tip-off, an operational team of the RAB-13's Crime Prevention Company-1 from Dinajpur Camp conducted a raid in the Mohanpur Bridge area and arrested the duo with the ganja and their truck at 12:45 pm, a press release said today.

The elite force handed over the arrested persons along with the seized ganja and truck to Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station, the release added.
