No alternative to youth leadership in nation-building: Rashed Khan

JHENAIDAH, Oct 02, 2025 (BSS) - Ganaadhikar Parishad General Secretary Rashed Khan today said young leaders must step forward to advance the country through state reform, justice for genocide, and hold a fair election. 

“There is no alternative to youth leadership in nation-building,” he told a campaign programme at Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila, said a press release. 

Rashed Khan said, “The July mass uprising has created an opportunity to rebuild a new Bangladesh. It is now the responsibility of the country’s young leaders to reach out to the common people, convey the message of building a self-reliant and dignified Bangladesh, and listen to the aspirations of the public to ensure their voting rights and fundamental human rights.”

“The young leaders of Ganaadhikar Parishad are visiting people door to door, trying to understand their hardships and expectations,” he added.

Rashed said, “Our aim is to present our goals, objectives, policies, and ideals to the people. The public wants to place their trust in youth leadership.”

“Over the past 16 years, no one has worked to fulfill the people’s aspirations. Those of us who led the July mass uprising will, Inshallah, collectively establish a politics that meets public aspirations,” he said.

On the same day, Rashed Khan visited various areas of Sadar Upazila for public outreach, exchanging greetings with the general public. Leaders and activists of Jhenaidah district Ganaadhikar Parishad were present at the event.
