400 poor eye patients treated in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, Oct 11, 2025 (BSS) – About 400 poor eye patients were treated by a group of doctors at a daylong free eye camp at Khetlal upazila of the district today.

The eye camp was organized under the initiative of BNP Central Co-Organizing Secretary A.H.M. Obaidur Rahman Chandan with the financial support of Andheri Hilfi Ball Germany Mission Hospital at the premises of Ziapur High School of the upazila. 

Free treatment and medicines were provided to everyone who came to the camp. 

The common people of the area and the patients who came for treatment were happy with such an arrangement. 

In this regard, BNP Central Co-Organizing Secretary AHM Obaidur Rahman Chandan told BSS, "BNP's goal is to serve the people of the area. In continuation of that, we are organizing this event. In this regard, we have completed four eye camps. Arrangements have been made to provide free medicines and cataract surgery and lens fitting to each of the patients."
