RAJSHAHI, Oct 22, 2025 (BSS) - Two persons were killed on the spot when their 
motorbike was dashed by a passenger coach at the city hat area under 
Shahmakhdum Police Station in the city today.

Police said the deceased were identified as Azizur Rahman Khan, 40, of 
Fakirpara village, and Saibur Rahman, 45, of Kichnidaha village, both under 
Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.

Quoting witnesses, police also said they were returning to the houses from 
Rajshahi this afternoon. 

Masuma Mustary, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shahmakhdum Police Station, said 
the accident occurred when the speeding bus was taking a U-turn that caused 
fatal deaths of the two people around 2.30 pm. 

OC Mustary also said they seized both the bus and the motorbike.
