Two held with huge ESKuf syrup in Gaibandha

RANGPUR, Dec 1, 2025 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 seized 131 bottles of smuggled phensedyl-like ESKuf syrup and arrested two presumed drug dealers from Sohag Boarding (Residential) in Gaibandha district town on Sunday.
 
On a tip-off, an operational team of the RAB-13’s Crime Prevention Company -2 from its Gaibandha Camp conducted a raid there, seized the contraband drugs and arrested the two persons from the spot at 10:25 pm, a press release said tonight. 
 
The arrestees were identified as Md Abdul Matin, 50, son of late Abdul Jabbar Munshi, and Kamal Hossain, 65, son of late Abdul Basir, both of village Rautnagar under Ranisankail police station of Thakurgaon district. 
 
After filing a case in this incident, the elite force handed over the arrested persons and seized drugs to Gaibandha Sadar police station for further legal action.
