Families of Naogaon road crash victims receive Tk one crore in Aid

NAOGAON, Dec 11, 2025 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) has distributed cheques worth Taka one crore as compensation to the families of those killed and injured in a road accident in Naogaon. 

The cheques were handed over to 26 affected families at the Deputy Commissioner's conference room today.

BRTA Chairman (Additional Secretary) Momtaz Saad Uddin Ahmed distributed these cheques from the funds of the Board of Trustees. 

BRTA Joint Secretary Rubaiyat-e-Ashiq, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saiful Islam and others were present at the time.

At the event, cheques of Taka 5 lakh each were given to the 18 families of the deceased, Taka 3 lakh each to one family of the seriously injured, and Taka 1 lakh each to seven families of the injured.
