NAOGAON, March 3, 2026 (BSS) - A teacher was killed in a road accident at Kadimpur in Kirttipur union of Sadar upazila here on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was Rimon Hossain, 30, a resident of Kirttipur village of the upazila.

The accident took place around 11.00 am when an earth-laden tractor hit Rimon’s motorcycle, leaving him dead on the spot. 

Naogaon Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Ibnul Abedin confirmed the matter.

Md. Mushfiqur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle), confirmed that the tractor involved in the accident had been seized, although the driver had fled the scene. The body of the deceased teacher was handed over to the family after completion of legal formalities.
