Prayer held in Habiganj seeking eternal peace for Khaleda Zia

HABIGANJ, March 3, 2026 (BSS) - A special prayer and iftar mahfil was held in Bahubal upazila of the district today seeking eternal peace for the late former BNP Chairperson and three-time Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

The event, organized by Mirpur Sunshine School and College in Bahubal upazila, took place on Tuesday afternoon at the college premises, where local leaders, activists, and members of the community gathered to honor the late leader’s legacy.

The mahfil was presided over by Akaddosh Mia Babul, former president of Bahubal upazila BNP, while Dr. Reza Kibria, the BNP Member of Parliament (MP) for the Habiganj-1 constituency, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Advocate Muddat Ali, Senior Vice President of the Habiganj District Bar, Bahubali Upazila BNP General Secretary Haji Shamsul Alam, Senior Vice President Abdur Rakib, Senior Joint General Secretary Enamul Haque Enam and Former General Secretary Imam Uddin Sarkar were present, among others.
