JAMALPUR, April 19, 2026(BSS) - A district development coordination meeting for April was held today in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.

Local lawmaker and general secretary of district BNP, Advocate Shah Md Wares Ali Mamun, was present at the meeting as the chief guest.

He said that most of the area in Jamalpur sadar upazila remained undeveloped during the past government; people in these areas still suffer from a lack of roads and bridges. Assuring all help, he directed the concerned department to take steps to develop the areas. 

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yusuf Ali presided over the meeting.

Civil Surgeon, Dr Mohammad Azizul Haque, District Livestock Officer, Dr Md Sanowar Hossain, Deputy Director, Department of Agriculture Extension, Mohammad Alam Sharif Khan and District Fisheries Officer, ANM Ashraful Kabir spoke among others at the meeting.
