KMP issues public notice during SSC examinations

KHULNA, April 19, 2026 (BSS) - The Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) has 
issued a public notice imposing restrictions to ensure smooth and peaceful 
conduct of the 2026 SSC, Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) examinations.

Under sections 29 and 30 of the Khulna Metropolitan Police Ordinance, 1985, 
the restrictions will remain in force from April 21 to May 26, 2026, at 24 
examination centres across the Khulna metropolitan area.

According to the notice signed by KMP Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Hasan, 
gatherings of five or more people, processions, and loitering will be 
prohibited within 200 yards of examination centres from 8 am until the end of 
each examination.

The notice also bans carrying any kind of weapons, including knives, sticks, 
or explosives, within the vicinity of exam centres. Use of loudspeakers or 
any device creating high noise is strictly prohibited in these areas.

Additionally, photocopying machines must remain closed within 200 yards of 
the examination centres during exam hours.

Legal action will be taken against anyone violating these directives.
