RAJSHAHI, April 26, 2026 (BSS) – Administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC), Md. Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, has issued strict instructions to engineers and contractors to complete the stalled development work on the road from Barnali Mor to Hetem Khan Boro Mosque in the city as quickly as possible.

He gave the directive during an on-site inspection this noon. The RCC administrator also provided various guidelines for improving the drainage system.

At that time, RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman said, “The objective of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is to serve the people. We have engaged ourselves in that work. We want to complete the work on this road before the upcoming monsoon season. Do not show any lack of sincerity.”

Earlier, the RCC administrator began the inspection from the road behind Barnali Mor. He then inspected the road up to Hetem Khan Boro Mosque Mor via Hetem Khan Choto Mosque, listened attentively to various problems of local residents, and instructed the concerned officials to resolve the issues.

During the inspection, RCC Superintending Engineer Ahmed Al Moin Parag, Executive Engineer Mahmudur Rahman Emon, along with concerned engineers, contractors, and local dignitaries were present.
