
GAZIPUR, June 22, 2026 (BSS) - Authorities in Gazipur have reaffirmed a strict “zero tolerance” policy against any form of irregularities in the upcoming Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Alim, and equivalent examinations scheduled for 2026, with the aim of ensuring a fair, transparent, and disruption-free examination process.
The announcement came during a preparatory meeting held on Monday at the Bhawal Conference Hall, organized by the Gazipur District Administration. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Md Nurul Karim Bhuiyan.
Speaking to centre secretaries and education officials, the DC urged all stakeholders to perform their duties with honesty, sincerity and vigilance. He emphasized that maintaining the integrity of examinations and ensuring proper evaluation of merit are top priorities for the district administration. He further stated that any form of misconduct would be dealt under a strict zero-tolerance policy.
Special guests at the meeting included representatives from the Gazipur Metropolitan Police, including Deputy Police Commissioner Mohammad Mohiul Islam, along with Additional District Commissioner (Education and ICT) M. Rakibul Hasan, Additional District Commissioner (General) Mohammad Shahriar Nazir and District Education Officer Mohammad Al Mamun Talukder.
The meeting outlined several key operational decisions aimed at ensuring smooth conduct of the examinations. These include strict enforcement of law and order at all examination centres, a complete ban on unauthorized entry of outsiders into examination venues and surrounding areas, and mandatory compliance with examination regulations.
To enhance security and transparency, all examination centres will remain under continuous CCTV surveillance with active monitoring throughout the exam period.
