RANGPUR, Sept 5, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested four persons with 25 kilograms of ganja and 16 bottles of phensedyl-like syrup ESkuf from Dharmapur village under Phulbari police station of Kurigram district on Friday.

The arrestees are Md Zahid Hasan alias Angur, 28, of Dharmapur village, Md Mostafa Kamal, 38, Md Mozammel Haque, 43, and Md Hazrat Ali, 29, of Paschim Anantapur village under Phulbari police station of Kurigram, a press release said today. 

Acting on a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-13's Rangpur Sadar Company conducted a raid in the village and arrested the four alleged drug peddlers with a huge quantity of contraband drugs from a house in the village at 4 am. 

After filing a case in this incident under the Narcotics Control Act, 2018, the elite force handed over the arrested persons and the seized drugs to Phulbari police station for further legal action.
