Indian video being circulated as Bangladesh's road accident scene: BanglaFact

DHAKA, May 18, 2025 (BSS) - Fact-checking platform BanglaFact, operated by the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB), has identified that a video of a road accident in India is being circulated to spread propaganda claiming it as a scene of Bangladesh.

In its latest report, BanglaFact clarified that the much-discussed scene of a road accident does not belong to Bangladesh.

In fact, the BanglaFact's investigation found, an accident occurred on a road in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, on April 29, in which several school students were injured. 

Recently, the scene of that accident has been circulated on the internet, claiming it to be a road accident in Bangladesh.
