DHAKA, July 29, 2025 (BSS) - Fact-checking platform, BanglaFact, operated by the Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB), has identified a video that circulated as the statement of Home Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury,  is in fact  AI-generated.

According to a BanglaFact investigation report, a video created with the help of AI has been circulated on social media claiming the Home Adviser's statement on the extortion incident in Gulshan; which is false.

However, BanglaFact investigation found that this video of the Home Adviser's statement on the extortion incident in Gulshan was made with AI.
