DHAKA, Aug 5, 2025 (BSS) - FactWatch, an independent fact-checking organization based in Bangladesh, has debunked a video circulating on social media that falsely claims a clash between Jubo Dal, NCP and the police. 

The footage, which gained widespread attention on Facebook, was actually from a confrontation between BNP supporters and the police on May 23, 2023.

According to FactWatch's report, the video was taken during a BNP march near Science Lab in the city, not a three-way clash at the Central Shaheed Minar, as claimed in the viral post. 

The organization found no evidence to support the alleged conflict between Jubo Dal, NCP and police on Sunday, as the video falsely suggests.
