DHAKA, Aug 13, 2025 (BSS) - Fact-checking platform BanglaFact, operated by the Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB), has identified a video claiming that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has sought resignation letter of Sheikh Hasina which was actually a video of November 14, 2019.

BanglaFact's investigation found that a video is being circulated on social media claiming that ICC has demanded to see Sheikh Hasina's resignation letter within 17 working days.

The team mentioned that this is a completely false and baseless propaganda.

In fact, on November 14, 2019, the judges of the ICC allowed the prosecutor to file charges under the jurisdiction of the ICC regarding the situation in Bangladesh-Myanmar on the Rohingya issue, they added.

The video is footage from that statement of ICC, they said.
