NOAKHALI, Jan 18, 2025 (BSS)- Youth Gold Cup Football tournament inaugurated
here today (Saturday) as a part of the Festival of Youth-2025 to build a new
Bangladesh with a slogan of "Let's change the country, Change the world".
Deputy Commissioner (DC), Noakhali Khandkar Istiaq Ahmed formally inaugurated
the meet as the chief guest at Shaheed Bhulu Stadium with Deputy Additional
Commissioner (general) Muhammad Ismail in the chair.
Noakhali District Additional Superintendent of Police Abu Tayeb Mohammad
Arifur Rahman, representative of Civil Surgeon Dr. Naima Nusrat Zebin,
Begumganj Upazila Executive Officer Arifur Rahman were present as special
guests.
A total of 10 teams from the district participated in the tournament which is
being held under the overall patronisation of the Ministry of Youth and
Sports.
Begumganj Upazila Jubo Dal and Kabirhat Upazila Jubo Dal competed in the
opening match which was conducted by local referee Humayun Kabir Raju.
