CHATTOGRAM, Jan 19, 2025 (BSS)- Khulna Tigers bolstered its strength further
by roping in Pakistan allrounder Aamer Jamal and Australian batter Alex Ross
for the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) competition.

Khulna media department confirmed the news through a WhatsApp message today.

The 28-year Jamal represented Pakistan in eight Tests, three ODIs and six T20
Internationals, so far.

Alex Ross, a 32-year old batter is yet to get a national cap but is already a
T20 veteran, playing 136 matches for different franchises around the world.
Ross is a regular face in Big Bash League as he played for Brisbane Heat,
Sydney Thunder and Adelaide Strikers. He earlier played BPL for Durdanto
Dhaka.

After a breakout season in 2015-16, Alex Ross was rewarded with the Bradman
Young Cricketer of the Year award at the Allan Border Medal night in January
2016.

He also impressed in the Big Bash League, where his proclivity for the sweep
shot earned him the nickname "Sweepologist" from TV commentators.

Khulna, led by Mehidy Hasan Miraz, are currently on four-match losing streak
after winning the first two matches. They are in the fifth spot in the points
table as of now.
