KHAGRACHARI, Jan 20, 2025 (BSS)-National Gold Cup Football Tournament (U-17 boys’ and girls’) has begun today (Monday) on the occasion of Festival of Youth keeping ahead the slogan of “Let’s change the country, change the world.” 

Held at Khagrachari stadium, Matiranga upazila and Khagrachari sadar upazila boys’ and girls’ teams participated in the opening game, organized by district administration and district sports office.

Khagrachari deputy commissioner ABM Iftekharul Islam Khandkar formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest, presided by additional deputy commissioner (revenue) Ferdowsi Begum.

Police superintendent Md. Arefin Jewel, deputy director of local government department Nazmun Ara Sultana, NSI joint director Nashir Mahmud Ghazi, sports organizer Nazrul Islam were also present there.
