CUMILLA, Jan 23, 2025 (BSS)- A traditional stick fighting( Bengali martial art) and cockfighting exhibition were held today in town hall ground in Cumilla on the occasion of Festival of Youth with the slogan of 'Let's change the country, change the world'.

Cumilla deputy commissioner Md Amirul Kaishar formally inaugurated the exhibition match as the chief guest.

After the inauguration the deputy commissioner said the district administration has organized such folk games mainly to show the lost culture of undivided Cumilla to this generation and to sustain the culture.

The participants of stick fighting and exhibitors of cockfighting were also happy to show their cultural heritage  in the Festival of Youth.
