Meherpur, Jan 27, 2025 (BSS) - An anti-drug rally was held in Meherpur marking the Youth Festival on the premises of Gopalpur Secondary School in Sadar Upazila here.

With the theme "Madoker Bishe Noshto Hobe Na Jibon, Aloye Vorbe Torun-Torunir Mon" (Life will not be ruined by drugs; the minds of the youth will be filled with light), the rally was presided over by President of the Youth Development Foundation Faisal Hossain, Meherpur district branch, with Sadar Upazila Secondary Education Officer Monirul Islam in the chair.

The Youth Development Foundation, Meherpur district branch organised the event.

Assistant Director of the Narcotics Control Department Mizanur Rahman and President of the Meherpur Press Club Tozammel Azam, among others, were present.
