DHAKA, Jan 27, 2025 (BSS)- The Inter-district athletics competition of Dhaka division, on occasion of Festival of Youth, will be held Tuesday at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the capital. 
 
Shorof Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury, president of Dhaka Divisional Sports Association (DDSA) and also Dhaka Divisional commissioner, is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest, organized by DDSA, under the entire cooperation of Bangladesh Athletics Federation (BAF).     

BAF vice president Iqbal Hossain, its general secretary Md Shah Alam and joint secretary Mizanur Rahman will be present in the opening ceremony.

A total of 235 athletes from 13 districts of Dhaka division will participate in the meet which will be included under 18 events. The events included ten of men’s and eight of women’s.
