A divisional Science fair held in Rangpur to celebrate Youth Festival

RANGPUR, Feb 26, 2025 (BSS) - A day-long Divisional Science and Information Technology Fair 2025 were held at BIAM Laboratory School and College premises in the city on Tuesday.

Sixteen science-related stalls from different schools of all eight districts of Rangpur division were set up in this day-long fair. 

Divisional Commissioner Md. Shahidul Islam inaugurated the day-long Divisional Science and Information Technology Fair 2025 as the chief guest.
 
The Divisional Commissioner's Office organized the Science and Information Technology Fair to celebrate the Youth Festival 2025 with the aim of bringing the youth to one platform for national progress. 
 
Additional Divisional Commissioner (General) Md. Ashraful Islam presided over the function.

The chief guest said that the youth are the future of the country and they will lead the nation to build a new Bangladesh in the spirit of the July Revolution in the future 

"This fair creates a prospect for the youth to develop creative thinking and innovative power. It can play an important role in increasing the youth's passion for national heritage and culture and instilling a sense of social responsibility," he said. 

Divisional Director (Local Government) Md. Abu Jafar, Deputy Commissioner of Rangpur Mohammad Rabiul Faisal, Deputy Director of Secondary and Higher Education Rangpur Region Md. Abdur Rashid addressed the event as special guests. 
 
Teachers, students, guardians, visitors and journalists were present at the event.
