KYIV, Ukraine, June 23, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - At least one person was killed and several wounded in Russian strikes on Kyiv and the surrounding region, Ukraine authorities said Monday.

"Unfortunately, as a result of the enemy attack in Bila Tserkva district, a woman born in 1957 died from her injuries," said Mykola Kalashnyk of Kyiv's military administration.

He added that two people were admitted to hospital and others were treated on site.
