SANGSAD BHABAN, June 23, 2026 (BSS) - Disaster Management and Relief Minister
Asadul Habib Dulu today informed Parliament that allegations of
irregularities and corruption in rural infrastructure renovation projects
implemented during the previous government's tenure are currently under
investigation.

The minister disclosed the information in response to a written question
tabled by ruling party lawmaker Mostafizur Rahman Babul of Jamalpur-3
constituency in the House today.

The day's sitting began with Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikram, in the
chair.

Dulu said that investigations are being conducted into alleged irregularities

name of rural infrastructure development during the previous government's
rule.

The minister added that appropriate legal and administrative measures would
be taken if the allegations are proven through the ongoing investigations.
