DHAKA, Aug 29, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested 1,515 crime suspects from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours, according to Police Headquarters statement.
The statement, issued here today, said 982 were wanted in previous cases and warrants while 533 others have been arrested for other criminal charges.
It said a revolver, a one shooter gun, one long gun, one pistol, one G3 riffle, one MA-1 variant riffle, one LM-16 variant riffle, one locally made gun (LG), 511 rounds of bullet, seven round of cartridge, nine magazine, and other locally made weapons were seized during the drive.
