DHAKA, June 2, 2025 (BSS) - The government has allocated Taka 12,869 crore for the Ministry of Water Resources in the proposed budget for the fiscal year (FY) 2025-26.

    Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed today proposed the allocation after unveiling a Taka 7,90,000 crore national budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.

    Of the total allocation, Taka 1,2155 crore was proposed for development and Taka 714 crore for operational purposes. 

    The allocation is Taka 70 core higher than the revised budget of the previous FY 2024-25.
