July policy to be finalized this week with department's activities: Faruk E  Azam

DHAKA, Feb 17, 2025 (BSS) - Liberation War Affairs Adviser Faruk E Azam today 
said the deceased of July mass uprising will be declared a "July Shaheed" 
while the injured as "July Jhodha".

Besides, finalization of July Policy will be done this week alongside 
starting the activities of the department, he revealed after emerging from 
the DC Conference in the capital's Osmani Memorial auditorium.
 
The adviser said the deceased in the July mass uprising will receive a one-
time honorarium of Taka 3 million while a monthly allowance of Taka 20,000 
for life.
 
Moreover, the injured will be divided into three categories to provide 
monthly honorarium and jobs, he added.
 
The adviser also said the deputy commissioners (DCs) have been instructed to 
conduct drives across the country to identify fake freedom fighters and take 
legal action against them.
