CA directs to launch Starlink's internet service in Bangladesh

DHAKA, March 25, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus in March has issued directives to initiate Starlink's satellite broadband internet service commercially within 90 days in Bangladesh.

Though Starlink uses its foreign satellite broadband gateway for test broadcasts, the company will use a local broadband gateway or IIG in providing commercial service in Bangladesh complying with NGSO policies, said the chief adviser’s press wing.
