DHAKA, August 4, 2025 (BSS)- Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on August 23 on a bilateral visit aimed at bolstering cooperation between Bangladesh and Pakistan.

During the visit, Ishaq Dar is expected to hold a bilateral meeting with Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain on August 24, a senior official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed to BSS this afternoon.

"The visit will focus on strengthening diplomatic engagements and exploring avenues for constructive dialogue," the official said, adding that further details of the visit will be announced in due course.

Dar's planned visit to Bangladesh in April was postponed in the wake of rising regional tensions between Pakistan and India.

This upcoming visit marks a renewed diplomatic effort from both countries to engage in dialogue on matters of mutual interest, officials said.
