BARISAL, Mar 21, 2026 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan today offered the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the Central Eidgah Mosque in Gournadi Upazila of the district.

The Eid congregation was held at 8 am. 

Senior officials of the local administration, political leaders, and a large number of devotees offered their prayers in the venue.

After the prayers, special prayers were offered for the welfare, prosperity and unity of the country and the nation.

Later, the information minister exchanged Eid greetings with devotees.

On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the minister extended his heartfelt greetings and congratulations to the countrymen.
