CHANDPUR, May 16, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman chaired an organizational meeting with the leaders of BNP and its associate bodies in Chandpur tonight. 

The meeting began at 8 pm at the Chandpur Club, which lasted for one and a half hours, according to the Prime Minister's Press Wing. 

Organizational matters were discussed during the closed-door meeting.
Chandpur District BNP President Sheikh Farid Ahmed Manik and lawmakers Mominul Haque and Rasheda Begum Hira were present on the stage.

During the meeting, Tarique Rahman listened to the leaders' views regarding the party's organizational situation at the local level and gave necessary directives.

Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman said after the meeting, the Prime Minister's motorcade left Chandpur for Dhaka around 9:35 pm.
